For Reena Badani, a lifelong admirer of culture and craftsmanship, that pivotal moment came during her travels to Rajasthan, a northern Indian state renowned for its vibrant heritage and breathtaking landscapes. Mesmerized by the ancient artistry of handmade inlay products, copper work, mango wood carvings, and marble craft, Reena was convinced these time-honored techniques deserved a global stage.
In 2018, it was her oomph and passion that inspired the founding of La Panache in Singapore—an affordable, modern way of living that invites you to see the world with elegance. Rejecting the notion that India’s centuries-old craftsmanship was fading, Reena recognized an ocean of talent ready to be showcased.
In 2022, La Panache was reimagined in California, carrying its mission forward with a re-energized spirt and a focus on blending artisanal heritage with contemporary flair. Today, we remain devoted to creating timeless designs from nature’s finest materials, while celebrating the stories and soul behind every piece.
